Quite addictive. New aspects of the game are seen till the very end. Good value for money.
Small game. Very mediocre graphics. Deplorable sound-track.
Crusaders of Space is simple but addictive. All you really use is the mouse and the left and right click buttons. So what is really addictive about this game? Well, it is the large number of upgrades, weapons and enemies that keeps one going.
You are in control of a spaceship and are constantly being attacked by a hoarde of enemies (alien ships). While trying to destroy the aliens with your ultra cool ship, you have to make sure that you dont get hit by one of their missiles, bullets, fireballs etc. As you destroy more and more alien crafts you come across several upgrades and bombs.
Destruction and explosion has somehow always kept gamers hooked since time immemorial. This game tries to satisfy that pleasure of destruction that is interestingly present in all human beings.
If you read my other reviews, you will notice that i always have something to say about the products price. This is because i am deeply concerned with the value that i recieve for my money. Accordingly, I am very pleased with the way this game has been priced.
Unlike most developers, Alawar understands the value its game holds and has accordingly priced its product. What i mean to say is that Crusaders of Space is a great buy at $14.
