The latest version of Acronis backup and recovery software has been redesigned and includes a 204 page user's manual which is more of a complete reference document on backup and recovery issues and may make it appear that using the software itself more difficult than it really is to setup and operate. However, the manual is well worth reading, especially for the uninitiated.
Acronis recently released a Plus Pack add-on to the True Image Home 2010 software but before installing this package, be sure to check for and install the latest version of the Home 2010 program or the Plus Pack will fail to install. Unfortunately, Acronis does not automatically notify registered users when updates are released and there appears to be no selection to manually accomplish this on the menu items. It's necessary to go to the Acronis website to look for the latest version.
One valuable feature on the Acronis website, after signing in, is the ability to view and download all of the registered software the user has purchased in the past. Each item has a download link and another link for the registration information so that the software can easily be reinstalled and registered. Simply select the "Support" button, sign in again, then under "Self Service", select "Downloads and Upgrades" where all previously purchased software will be listed. Links are provided for downloading the programs and serial numbers for re-registering can be found using the link "Get all Serials" which can be opened in Notepad for copying and pasting into the programs during installation.
Acronis is probably the most fully featured backup/recovery software available at a reasonable price for both home and business users. They have recently initiated an on-line backup option in addition to backing up to external drives, etc.
Support response is excellent if a question or problem issue is sent. They will follow up several days later to see if the problem is resolved and continue to follow up until the case is closed.

Great product. No problems on Windows 64bit. Easy interface. Easy backups and restores. Saved me from several bad tweaks/hacks. I love to play around with my system, but need some good recover-tool! And this is my personal choice
