Price is on the high end, but worth it. A bit of a learning curve, but easy to understand and use once you are familiar with all of its features.
WOW. This software is amazing. I can't think of one thing to put on the con list other than it's high-end price tag. But that is it. Yes, it has a steep learning curve, but that's just my opinion. What may be difficult for me to learn how to do, could be a breeze for someone else, so that is just a matter of opinion.
I first learned of this product when I it on a voice-over job site I am a member of. I do voice-overs part time, but lately I have been struggling with my voice due to a horrible bout of bronchitis. I knew that there were software programs out there that can adjust the pitch in one's voice and that recording artists have been known to use them, but I didn't want to be deceptive by altering my voice. I hoped I could find a program that could accommodate me, but this one left me speechless, literally!!

Speech-Over is basically a Plug-in for PowerPoint that implements voice narration along with eye-popping graphic animations to enhance the the user experience and effect of PP presentations in seminars, webinars, conferences, press releases, and business training, just to name a few. This is achieved with the use of two different kinds of clips: orientation clips, and introduction clips. These are then added to the PP slide-show background and content specific clips are assigned to the stand alone PowerPoint screenplays.

To Use SpeechOver:
Open any existing powerpoint presentation or you can create a new powerpoint presentation. You can also add narration clips to the whole entire slide by clicking on the "Add Narration Clip" tab on the toolbar or if you want to add a certain narration to it like text bullet, a certain shape, or an image, just select which you wish to use. Once the slide object is selected then just click on the "Add Narration Clip" and then Select a Shape from the toolbar.
You can also add narration clips that aren't connected to a specific object, just un-select anything that's on the slide and then select the same option in the toolbar. The Recording option allows you to record your own voice using a microphone, and you can also enter text data by using the speech to text option, which essentially types the data into the narration clip by simply speaking- but it does not use your voice recording for this option if you have chosen the speech to text option.
You can also upload a Sound File from a recording you already have made or you can use previously recorded voice-overs from a professional, even a computer generated voice. To check your chosen sound clip just choose it from the navigation toolbar, then click OK when finished. You can even dictate text into your microphone, which can be added just as it is when you type it.
You can customize the preferences for each narration by clicking on the Preferences button inside of the dialog box. In addition to adding your own narration, you can also add customized animations to any slide content. After the narration or animations are added, there is an option to edit, if you so choose. You can Edit the Slide Content Text by opening the "Edit Slide Content dialog box", and you can change the text data to use in your narrations. The text data can also be written into the PowerPoint notes.

Speech-Over costs $299.00. Speech-Over can also be purchased with premium TTS voices and also comes with two premium TTS voices, including Neospeech Paul and Acapela Group Heather, but you can also purchase premium voices from other software vendors such as ATT Natural Voice.
Speech-Over is a voice over software that performs efficiently well and I definitely recommend it. You too, will be left speechless.
I don't know what else to say, I really mean it when I say it leaves you speechless. This program is amazing , especially if you are in an industry that uses this type of program often, such as voice-overs, and presenters.
