Alaware Games - Beach Party Craze
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Appropriate music, fun to play and progress through, interesting setting, addicting
Unoriginal, hard to understand at first
At first, it seemed like this game was going to be a replica of Diner Dash, click the customer, click what they want, click the next customer, click what they want, and so on. But after the first level, I was hooked. The beach setting is very original, and although the structure of the game isn't very original, there are many touches added that make it addicting. When a beach customer comes in, you click them to give them a chair, and then get them whatever they want. There are little tasks hidden inside every task. For example, when a customer wants water, you don't just have to get it for them, but you have to click on a moving bar in order to choose how filled up the glass is going to be, the more it's filled, the more money you make. The same goes for making sandwiches, you have to make the sandwich yourself, and if you get the order right, you make more money.
The only challenging aspect was towards the beginning of the game when you have to figure out what to purchase. The goal chart at the bottom of the screen is confusing because all there is are little pictures, no words explaining your goals. This was made a little bit easier when you went into the "store" and what you needed to purchase in order to progress onto the next level was highlighted.
This is definitely one of those games that once you start, you can't stop. There are many levels, so the game never gets old. The difficulty levels progress nicely, it doesn't get too hard too quickly.
This is an unoriginal game with a just a few original touches, but it is very addicting.
