Review:

Screw the nut 2 is a nice puzzle game in which you have to, well, screw the nut on the bolt! This is achieved by getting the nut near the bolt close enough, and it will screw on it by itself. At first you have only them and various platforms, which you can make disappear. But as you advance new elements are added, like round nut, balls that make certain blocks disappear and cannon that will shoot your nut in the direction you want! There is not a big variety of active elements and that is good. Too bad that not much existing elements come in action on every level. And that makes game too easy. There is challenge, but you figure it quick and beat the level. Sometimes you get stuck, but not to the point where you give up. Nice background jazz makes you feel relaxed. And blueprint-style of the game does not distract from the goal of the level.

The biggest minus of the game is its ease-the levels are compact, not much elements or puzzles block your way and the challenges themselves are mostly simple. You see the solution pattern almost immediately. That makes the game so quick to beat that someone may even drop it due to the ease. Certainly you feel the joy of victory, but it would've been better if the game was harder. And longer- present amount of levels with their ease are not enough.

The game is surely on the verge of "forgettable" and only music and graphics save it. It surely has potential and the solution is hardness.

Conclusion:

Very nice, relaxing exercise for the brain. The point is- too easy and short. Either create more levels, or make existing quantity harder and the puzzle will shine.
