Practically 95% of the things about this game could have been constructed better.
I had high hopes for Coffee Tycoon but those hopes quickly came crashing down as I began playing the game. I admit that I was one of those "Tycoon fanatics" who was addicted to Rollercoaster Tycoon and Zoo Tycoon. Sadly, Coffee Tycoon didn't live up to the Tycoon dynasty. It lacked the addictive factor that it's former tycoon relatives had. It lacked the thrill and intensity too. The graphics are not terrible but they are bland. I honestly don't know what age group would find this game appealing since it's too slow paced for children and teens, too pointless for the middle aged, and maybe a bit confusing for the elderly. Nevertheless, I guess playing this game is a nice alternative to sitting and staring at a wall. Spare yourselves though, unless you have absolutely nothing better to do, save your money and time for a wiser choice of entertainment.
Just like the little sibling always looks up to the older sibling, Coffee Tycoon is left gazing up at its superiors. It can't live up to the Rollercoaster or Zoo Tycoon legends.
