As soon as this game was installed and played, it automatically took me back when i had $20 worth of quarters and tried out the old arcade section.
This game isnt for the serious gamer but it is fun and addictive. This game is more of a "i gotta leave in a lil while..hmm might aswell play this" type of game that can actually keep you entertained for a short to moderate amount of time. Although ive seen better graphics in flash movies, its very colorful and interactive. As you sway left and right avoiding enemy fire, theirs meteors and space debree in the background giving the more "intense fight" feel to it which appealed to me.
If your a fan of the classic space invaders, centipede, and even the japan classics Raiden series, you will definitely enjoy this game for a short too moderate amount of time. Nearly $15 is a bit much for this type of game but if you have that kind of cash laying around and your looking for something that can entertain you whether at work, lunch break, or need a travel game for your laptop, this is for you.
The music and sound is original as advertised though its nothing special. It does add to the explosions caused by your rockets and blasters colliding with your enemy's. Joystick support is also available even though playing with a mouse is way easier. With a game as simplistic as this, i doubt you will ever have to contact support.
Overall this is a perfect game for the laptop you take to work if you have the spare $15. Otherwise just stick with the demo or pass. If you were a die-hard fan of the original space invaders, add this too your collection.
