EditPlus Review

I've been seeing EditPlus for a very long time now, and all I can say is that it sits near the top of my list all the time. The interface, like the rest of the software, is a no-nonsense functional one. Plus having syntax highlighting support for more than 10 languages surely helps.

But what particularly pleases me about EditPlus, is its HTML toolbar. Most other developer notepad's stop at HTML syntax highlighting. Now any webdeveloper will tell you that its a nightmare to remember HTML tags especially when you juggle two or more scripting languages.

The project management features are basic at best, but then you really shouldn't expect it of a notepad clone. The FTP tool is a godsend, especially for web developers like me. There are also nifty little features like the Navigation bar and Cliptexts which make the software a great buy. Since the software has a simple usage track, Help is not needed often, but a fairly comprehensive one is provided.
