outdated user interface slightly difficult to use low value for money
File monkey is a program designed to automate basic computer functions as the description says which unfortunately, is defeated by slightly hard to use interface which will take the average computer user quite some time to figure out.
The User interface is a let down as compared to most programs available on the market today appearing old and outdated with a file explorer and icons rivaling those of windows 98.
Many things can be automated despite the difficulty as it does have a web based tutorial though explaining how to use the functions on the program, and a hints dialogue which provide useful tips at the start up
It does a fair job of renaming and unzipping multiple files and other annoying repetitive task but the non straight forwardness of the application makes it a repetitive task to perform multiple iterations of clicking and navigating to perform the same tasks altogether
I do not think this is the best in its department, and is definitely not worth the money spent
