Dropheads Review
Alas, poor Dropheads. I knew them....sorta.
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Colorful and at first the little faces are funny especially, when you are falling behind and they are close to the top about to end your game.
The actual game is similar to so many others on the market that it can sometimes feel old and familiar. I also feel the price is a bit much for a game like this.
I must admit I was a bit hesitant about this game at first. I am normally a role playing game or first person shooter nut and these types of puzzle games are something I don't generally play unless I am extremely bored. I was mildly surprised how much I enjoyed these little colored balls with faces on them. I laughed when they laughed. I cried when they cried. Alright, so that's a bit much but I did laugh a few times as they smiled when I went over them or when they were close to the top and they looked like they were straining.
The Game Play: This game is a simple puzzle game where you match four or more of the colored balls to eliminate them from the playing field. Each set of balls that you eliminate earns you a number of points which will advance you to the next level. At the end of each level you earn a piece of a map and continue on to the next level. Some levels give you new things to help enhance game play along with additional speed, which will make this a good game for those that enjoy this type of thing.
Value for the Price: I would not pay $16 for this game. Maybe $10 but certainly not $16. There are many other games of this variety that you can find to play free online or even at a much lower cost. I would recommend not buying this game unless the price was lowered.
All in all, I would give this game a 3 out of 5 star rating. Colorfulness and cute little faces make the game somewhat entertaining but the price is a little steep for this type of game.
Although an alright game, the price makes this one a no buy for me. People looking for this type of game should probably look elsewhere.
