Xeno Assault 2 Review

Xeno Assault 2 is a side-scrolling shoot em up game that most classic and old school gamers will be very familiar with. With a very fast pace style of gameplay, Xeno Assualt can be right there along with other side-scrolling games such as Xevious, Wing Commander, and Capcoms own 1943. A game filled with 10 big bosses and ships and over a dozen different power-ups defeating each of these will be a different outcome depending on not only your power-ups but also your skill as well. Gamers not to familiar with these paticular genre may or may not enjoy these kind of style games. Based on an average gamer levels just like most classic games will start off easy at the beginning and as the levels progress you'll see that the game will be alot more difficult and will take alot more strategy to get pass the higher levels in the game.

However, with games comes with its own flaws or missing features. Even though replayability is very limited with features such as the "Online Leaderboard". It still lacks in key features that most gamers expect to see or have in shoot-em up style games and thats online multiplayer. A sequel to this game would be recommended to buy whenever a price drops for this game, because with no online or any great features that would make this game high replay value this will be a game that may or may not see a sale from fellow gamers. My recommendation would be, a buy if you have the money, if not its better to save it for other games that haves features such as online play, modes, and better replay value.
