BrickShooter Review
Addictive and requires thought. Not worth the price.
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
Convenient. Addicting. In game music. Compact and does not make your computer slow.
Simple and boring interface. Annoying sound effects. Not worth the money.
After downloading and testing out this game, I found it to be somewhat like Tetris but much more complicated. The game features four walls of blocks that you must use to match up in the middle. Matching is decided by the color of the block and you must match three or more blocks for them to vanish and get points.
This game allows more time for thinking and is much more strategical than i thought it would be at first. There is no time limit for you, and you can work at your own pace. Once you start matching blacks the game gets addicting as you think of different ways you can place the blocks in the middle. I find the sound affects annoying and not very pleasing, but luckily the game offers settings where you can disable this sound. I enjoyed the music that the game provides and the on screen "Next" and "Previous" buttons when you are playing the game are convenient in that you can shuffle through songs as you play. The music is simple and not too "fancy" but is the right type of music to think and clear your mind to. If you don't like the music you can switch it off in settings and play your own. The game can also be played in full screen mode and minimized screen mode. This was also convenient because I tend to switch windows then go back to the game now and than.
The game offers a save option so you can save the game you are currently in for another time. This makes it all the more convenient.
What I liked most about the game is that it downloads pretty fast and does not slow your computer at all. You can work on something, take a break, play this game, and return to your work with no problems.
The game, though, is very simple and is NOT worth the price it is set at. It offers nothing appealing except a difficult but addictive Tetris like experience.
I would indeed download this game if it were free, because it is addicting, relaxing, and something i can take a break to when i am busy on my computer. The price is not worth it at all and i don't recommend anyone buying it though.
