Simple, fun gameplay, addictive, original plot, graphics and sounds fit perfect with the game and add a nice game experience
Xbox controller isn't exactly designed for this kind of games and you would probably enjoy it more with an arcade stick
Wik: Fable of Souls is a platform game which player takes the role of Wik, a half man half frog character who jumps and grapple around in order to collect bugs and deliver them to Slotham.
When you play the game for the first time you will probably start thinking Wik as another Mario-wannabe and that you just wasted 800 MS points while you could just connect your old SNES and have the same (or maybe better) gaming experience for free. But this one is not what it may look like. The dark and at the same time pleasant enviroment combined with the strange,original story and characters makes you bet that Tim Burton was in charge of the designing.
Graphics are pretty decent for this type of game and sound fits nicely with enviroment. The game mechanics are simple and easy to learn but you need to use your skills wisely in order to succeed. Gameplay contains a story mode with more than 120 levels , a practice mode where you can train your grappling and a challenge mode for those who like to play the game in a more challenging way
Generally is an addictive fun game with original plot, perfect for time killing and some enjoyable playing hours. A definitely purchase for a fair amount of 800 MS points
