Review:

If you're looking for a yEnc/NZB compliant newsreader, this is where your search will end. Good GUI, advanced features are also included. Not complicated to use, once you spend few minutes to make him start.

How does it work? Like every other similar product, pick a binary newsgroup and choose what you wantever to download. It will automatically download each part of the segment as BBT file and then compile it to create file whole. Big advantage that puts him away from similar programs that this Boy will try to create a playable file even if one / more of parts are missing, and to be honest - he does the job surprsingly good.

Usually this kind of programs, for some reason, doesn't use whole bandwidth (about 75%) or doesn't work well with multiple threads, but didn't notice that in this case.

One think I didn't like about it; during a tests for this review, I found that Binary Boy is digging through my hard drive, leaving lots of .dll and other files that will allow information about you to be sent to the advertisers who's logos appear. I've also found numerous entries in my reg file. After a longer search, it seems that Binary Boy is one of the programs that installs the Aureate spy on your computer. This is the only reason why I won't use it.

Conclusion:

Indeed, an excellent newsgroup download management software.
