fast, loaded with features, multitasking
expensive, and confusing to learn
123LogAnalyzer is deginately fast. And it has a lot of features, but it almost has too many features. I am still learning about all the different features. For a program like this it really needs to give you an explanation of everything the first time you use it.
It is certainly fast though. They claim it processes 1 GB of files in a minute, and i believe that. So those of us with busy sites, this is a useful tool. The datamining features of quite impressive.
It is also helpful that it can work on the server side while also analyzing downloaded log files to your computer. It can even tel you who is more likely to spend money on your product, and what percentages of people visit your site.
But it cost over a hundred dollars in the first place, then they want you to spend another hundred on add-ins. Sure this program is more helpful than free alternatives, the point is that there are free alternatives. So you have to decide how worth it this is, expecially do you have at least a thousand or more visitors a day. If you do, then sure this will make you happy. But if you barely afford it, then you can get by with Google.
I'd say it depends on what you want to do with your site, and if you have money to invest. The program will definately help you grow if you already are off to a good start, if not, don't spend money you don't have and expect miracles.
