Very simple gameplay - move and shoot
None. You even get to play full-hour for free.
Bugatron is the second game by Retro64 that I got to play (the first one was Z-Ball). And to the day, it’s one of my favorites. It’s been on my PC for two years now and while I may allow a few month to pass by without playing it, but I always come back to Bugatron.
Basically, Bugatron is a fast-paced arcade shooter with a space theme. The graphics and intense gameplay is what makes Bugatron so appealing and wickedly addictive. You don’t have to thing, you don’t have to read rules - all you need to do is move fast and shoot fast. I believe there are about 100 levels in the game, so you’ll have plenty of practice and die a few thousand times before you become apt at it.
The game is very well polished, so every level, every new enemy formation is just an eye-candy. And the sound track is cool too. The game gets progressively more and more difficult and before you know it, you are totally sold.
If you like remakes of old classic games, Bugatron is just what the doctor ordered.
