NGWave is a fast Audio Editor for Windows. Features include unmatched wave display technology, full 32-Bit internal processing, lightening fast editing, unlimited Undo/Redo, many processing functions, and much more. Record sound using any installed sound card.

NGWave recording dialog features a built-in mixer to let you adjust your input levels for the sound card currently in use. The interface is completely customizable, letting you select colors manually, or choose from one of several predefined "presets". NGWave also offers a Preview function in the File Open dialog, and displays various information on MP3 and WAV files.

Could have been better

Pros: Runs smooth, edits quick if you know how and plenty of options.
Cons: Audacity does the same job at about the same speed and not only looks very similar but is available for free.

Pros: it has very good quality features for editing and recording.
Cons: audacity is free and does exactly the same so dont waste your money on this just download audacity or any other free software you can find.

Not the new wave of audio recording

Pros: The main thing that allowed me to tolerate Ngwave was the Full crash recovery system that allowed me to recover my current work after it crashed,without having to remember to save it sometime during my session; due to the constant worry of a system crash. Unlike other audio editing software programs I have used, Ngwave has unlimited undo/redo. Built-in mixer for adding special effects and adjusting inputs Can be easily mastered and understood without having a tutorial (unless you are illiterate when it comes to audio recording!) Fully Vista capatible
Cons: Cons: When using Ngwave I encountered one issue that as an audio engineer bothered me more than anything. Ngwave isn't capable of handling multi-tracking. Definitely not worth spending almost $30.00 for.
